AI Kids Story Safety for Parents

A parent-operated tool

Lullaly is designed for parents and caregivers to use, not for children to operate directly. An adult enters the moment, reviews the result, and decides when and how to read it aloud.

Age-appropriate and gentle goals

We aim for stories that are:

  • gentle, not frightening or shaming
  • focused on one small situation at a time
  • understandable for children roughly 3–6 years old
  • free of harsh punishment or threats of lost love

Input we do not allow

We reject prompts that request adult, sexual, severe violence, self-harm, hate, abuse, or other harmful content. We also do not generate stories that give medical, psychological, legal, or emergency advice.

Known characters and public figures

If a prompt mentions a well-known character, brand, or public figure, we keep the educational intent but rewrite the story with original characters and scenes.

Output scanning

After the AI finishes writing, the output is scanned again for completeness and safety. If a story does not pass the safety check, it is withdrawn and you are asked to try describing the moment differently.

AI has limits

AI can still make mistakes or produce content that does not fit your family. Please read every story yourself before sharing it with your child. Lullaly is not a replacement for professional advice.
