Kids Story Generator FAQ

What is Lullaly?

Lullaly is a simple AI tool for parents and caregivers. You describe one parenting moment or story idea, and it writes a gentle, age-appropriate story you can read aloud to a young child in about 3–5 minutes.

Is Lullaly free?

The current test version is free to use. We do not promise that it will remain free forever, and usage is subject to the daily quotas and limits described in our Terms.

What age are the stories for?

The stories are written for parents to read aloud to young children, roughly ages 3 to 6. The language, length, and themes are kept gentle and focused on everyday moments.

How long is each story?

Each story is designed as a 3–5 minute read-aloud. The exact length depends on the language you write in and how much detail you share.

How many stories can I create?

Daily visitor and service-wide quotas apply, along with short-term rate limits. If you reach a limit, the generator will ask you to try again later. This is not an unlimited service.

Can I create a custom bedtime story?

Yes. You can enter any moment your family is facing — bedtime, sharing, starting school, trying new food, saying sorry — and the AI will shape a story around your input.

What languages are supported?

The story follows the language of your input. If you write in English, the story is in English. If you write in Chinese, Spanish, or another language, the model will usually respond in the same language.

How does the AI safety check work?

Your input is checked before it is sent to the AI. Adult, sexual, severe violence, self-harm, hate, and other harmful prompts are rejected. After generation, the output is scanned again, and any story that fails the safety check is withdrawn.

Do you save my parenting moment or story?

No. Your raw input and the full generated story are processed only in memory during the request. They are not written to our database, logs, or analytics events.

What happens if generation fails?

If generation fails because of a network, provider, or safety issue, you will see a simple error message. If you had a previous story, it stays visible so you are not left with a blank page. You can then try again or regenerate.

Can I copy or regenerate a story?

Yes. Once a story is ready, you can copy it as plain text or click Regenerate to get a new version using the same parenting moment.
